There are couriers that will only charge their regular base rates, even for residential service. If you think that you're going to need package picked up fairly regularly from your home, then this is the type of courier company that you want to do business with.

They should list the service as either "residential delivery", "residential pickup", "Residential courier" or possible "home pickup and delivery". Courier companies now typically list all of their major services on their websites, so it shouldn't take long to find a courier that can offer you what you need.
