William Randolph Hearst Foundation Scholarship is offered by The Aspen Institute Program on Philanthropy and Social Innovation in Washington D.C. This scholarship is offered three times every year. However, this fellowship program is designed to help minority students and both undergraduate and graduate students can apply for this program. The award money is given to the students who are academically excellent and are in need of the money to complete their education as well.

The main intention behind creating this fellowship program is to add diversity in the group of the students. This is done to attract attention on the issues and challenges affecting philanthropy along with non profit organizations, social enterprises and other social sectors that are active.
