Maybe that person still needs some time to think, or maybe she or he is playing hard to get - let your 'past man or past woman' know that there's no pressure from you and that you can wait. Be sure not to wait too long though, because if it's taken almost a year and you still are not able to reconcile with an Ex, then, that is a sign that you should move on.
