So with the cost of DIY wind turbine generators being within the financial reach of most people there is really nothing to stop the determined home handy-person covering some or all of their electricity bill. In fact there is really no reason why they can't get to the point where they are actually receiving a net income from the electricity utility. Many people are doing so.

Whilst at first glance it may appear that generating electricity wouldn't have much impact on the environment, if we look a little deeper we will come to the realization that the more people who do this the greater will be the benefit to our environment and to the world.
