Divorces are generally messy affairs that have a lot of drama in them. The drama involves which of the spouses gets custody of the children. While tradition dictates that it is the mother who is the logical choice to get custody of the children, there are a lot of problems that a woman faces in raising the children left to her care.

Raising a child is an investment-intensive undertaking. And that help logically should be sourced from her spouse. But in these difficult economic times, personal interests often take precedence over the interest of a larger group.
