Wwe Tickets - Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig

During a 25-year career, WWE fans saw Curt Hennig

, also known as "Mr. Perfect," win a dozen championships and hundreds of classic matches. Being inducted into the Hall of Fame puts a "perfect" cap on the legacy of Hennig. The son of Minnesota wrestling legend Larry "The Axe" Hennig, Curt was born in Robbinsdale, Minn. in 1958.

Mr. Perfect graduated from Robbinsdale High School in the same class as best friend and fellow former WWE Superstar Rick Rude. The wrestler made his WWE debut in 1981. He began his career as a tag team partner and joined forces with the late Eddie Gilbert. Once in the ring, Hennig was known for his signature move, the "perfect-Plex."

Hennig's first major WWE rivalry was with the legendary Hulk Hogan. Get WWE tickets and see your favorite wrestler in the ring. Hogan, who was the WWE champion at the time, defeated Mr. Perfect in the 1990 Royal Rumble. After the match, Hennig vowed to get back at Hogan. He eventually stole Hogan's WWE Championship belt and destroyed it. After falling under the tutelage of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Hennig captured the Intercontinental Championship twice in 1990.

Although Mr. Perfect lost his title to Bret Hart at SummerSlam in 1991, the match was considered one of the greatest in WWE history. Later that year, Hennig teamed up with Ric Flair. Hennig was Flair's "Executive Consultant" and he helped him win two WWE Championships. But when their relationship turned sour, Mr. Perfect challenged his old friend in a Loser Leaves WWE Match on Raw in January 1993.

During 1993, Mr. Perfect injured his back and had to serve as a commentator and manager. In 1996, he led Triple H to his first Intercontinental Championship before leaving the WWE. In 1997, Hennig joined the Four Horseman in the WCW, but quickly defected to the New World Order (NWO) and won the United Sates Championship. Mr. Perfect left the NWO in 1999 and teamed up with the Windhams and Bobby Duncum, Jr. as the West Texas Rednecks. During this time, Hennig and Bobby Windham won the WCW Tag Team Championship and recorded their well known entrance theme, "Rap is Crap."

In 2002, Mr. Perfect returned to the WWE and competed in the Royal Rumble Match. He made it to the final four before he was eliminated. The wrestler left the WWE for good later that spring, ending a 20-plus year career in the spotlight. Hennig passed away on Feb. 10, 2003. He was found dead in his hotel room prior to a scheduled appearance in Tampa, Fla.

In 2007, Hennig was the ninth man to be posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The wrestler was inducted by his friend and Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Wade Boggs. Hennig's wife, Leonice, attended the ceremony with her four children, Joe, Hank, Katie, and Amy. Mr. Perfect's parents, Irene and Larry "The Axe" Hennig, also represented Curt. During the speech, Leonice reminded the WWE fans that "Curt was exactly what he said he was...absolutely perfect."
