You Need To Do This Type Of Exercise If You Want Permanent Fat Loss
Two thirds of us are now larger and heavier than we should be
. There are two simple reasons for this, one, is our sedentary and inactive modern lifestyles and the other is the abundance of high calorie, nutrient devoid processed foods that mess with our metabolism (our bodies engine) and throw it 'out of whack'.
Although many people are quite happy to live this type of lifestyle they do not seem to be happy with being overweight. Millions of dollars are spent each year on diets that promise that all the fat will be lost in a flash.
But this type of advertising is misleading as the figures show that 95 percent of all diets fail to provide lasting weight loss. Yet people keep trying to make them work in a futile attempt, much like trying to fill a swimming pool with a garden hose while you are trying to empty the pool with a bucket at the other end.
The short term solution that most 'diets' provide cannot provide what is really needed and that is a long term solution. To get your body weight under control there are some basic fundamentals that you will need to learn about and implement into your life so you can reverse the problem.
Number one on the list is that you will need to first get your body burning more fuel (calories) that you are taking in each day. We can do this in two ways and the easiest place to start is an exercise program to boost metabolism (the rate your body is burning fuel). The only effective way to do this is with strength training exercise.
Muscle tissue is the place where fuel is burnt for energy and when your muscles are toned they will be burning more fuel every single minute of the day and night. Even when you are resting or watching television your body will be burning more fuel than before you started the program. Calories that used to be stored as fat will now be burnt up as muscle tissue is highly active needing lots of fuel to maintain itself.
If you have allowed your muscular system to become weak through not doing enough muscle building and maintaining activity it is likely that you will become overweight. It might not happen quickly but slowly each year your body composition (muscle/fat ratio) will be changing for the worst.
It is so simply to get a proper program set up for you by a fitness professional at your local gym or fitness center. Only this type of exercise is able to boost your metabolism to reverse an overweight problem. Do not think endurance type activity like walking, cycling or jogging will do it because it will not. It is simply too low an intensity to boost the bodies engine for the long haul.
Strength training exercise is the most effective fat loss tool this is. No other fat loss method has the ability to increase lean body weight while burning off fat at the same time. None. So get yourself started and reverse that body fat problem for good.
