One of these scholarships is the $10K scholarship drawing by freecollegescholarships.net. If you want to appy you need to be at least 18 and live in the United States. When you register at their site, you get entered into the scholarship giveaway. The drawings have deadlines so make sure to register before then.

The Writing Center Fellowship at Coe College is another scholarship you may want to consider. Winners can earn $1,000 of scholarship money for four years. You will have the opportunity to work at the writing center if you do get the fellowship from the school.

Arkansas Tech University provides six scholarships to eligible students. The scholarships are worth $1,500 each and can be used to fund any study under any degree. You can submit a poem or a short story to apply.
