At the time of writing this it's mid November 2010, a little too early maybe for thinking about the New Year!

Well, if it's close enough for the Christmas commercials to be appearing on TV then it's close enough for you to start thinking about how you're going to transform your life in 2011.

Here's what I think your top five business mindset behaviours need to be to get the most out of 2011...

Find Your Lifes Passion - have a serious think about what you're most passionate about in life, a hobby, a good cause, your family, a favourite place? Identify whatever it is that makes you the happiest.

Create Your Definite Major Purpose - based on your lifes passion(s) create yourself a Definite Major Purpose (DMP). This is your ultimate ideal lifestyle and it's the reason for everything else you do.

Build Your Plan of Action - create yourself a plan for how you're going to achieve your DMP. Ensure it's realistic, actionable and make sure you have specific dates for specific goals and sub-goals

Take Relentless Focuses Action - start to tackle your plan, step by step, day by day. Focus on one goal at a time and be relentless until you achieve it. Accept any failures, learn from them but don't give up!

Measure Your Progress - Track your progress against your plan. Things won't always go to plan but if you hit a tough patch and feel like giving up (and this will happen at some point) look at the progress you've made so far and look at what you're ultimately trying to achieve, your DMP. Trust me, this really helps...

If you do all of this then you'll make more progress in 2011 than you've ever made before. Remember, this stuff is too important to leave until New Years Eve, so start taking action now and have the best 2011 ever!
