Zero Waste through Biosphere Technology
Zero Waste through Biosphere Technology
Zero Waste through Biosphere Technology
For the past decades the threat to our environment and life in general has substantially increased. We cannot deny the fact that it is mainly caused by industrialization due to increase in production. Although there are many studies conducted regarding the disposal of residential and industrial wastes, still it remains to be a problem to most nations. Some of the studies are proven effective while the others remain harmful to the environment. Among the commonly used method is recycling. However, there is no guarantee that all solid wastes can be recycled thus some of these solid wastes end up in landfills. This is yet another problem which the government needs to deal with.
The Reliable Solution
Good thing that there are already reliable green technologies nowadays, that can be used to clean up the wastes totally. An example is the use of gasification process. Biosphere technology is an example of gasification process wherein solid wastes are destroyed in high temperature chambers. During the process, a clean combustible gas or referred as synthesis gas "syngas" will be produced. This syngas is then used to generate electricity in a combined cycle gas/ steam turbine. With the use of biosphere technology alone, solid wastes management will no longer be a problem. Instead it would even help every nation in their waste management system while generating green energy to supply the increasing demand for energy.
SBSC and TGEG's zero waste campaign through biosphere technology
True Green Energy Group (TGEG) which is the leading promoter of world power and green technologies envisions a zero waste society in association with Spectrum Blue Steel Corporation (SBSC), the only company who has an exclusive license to the Biosphere Process and Technology to market, sell, promote, operate and manage in the Philippines. With the use of the biosphere technology, they believe it's possible, because unlike other standard gasification processes, biosphere technology works in zero waste philosophy. It recycles and handles all waste materials in a way that does not harm human health and our environment. The fuel gas produced is much cleaner than standard gasification processes and only contains traces of some elemental contaminates such as particulates, chlorine, sulfur and metals (amounts depend on the feedstock). There are no tars, furans or dioxins. Depending on the waste input there are may be some traces of other elements. But most of the particulates are removed by a cyclone back into the process, becoming part of the vitrified glass. This technology has passed all U.S. and European atmospheric standards including the latest EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations.
Nevertheless, a zero waste society is really possible if we all commit ourselves in making it happen. The technologies available at hand are just all tools for us to achieve this vision. To learn more on how to get involved log on to www.spectrumbluesteel.com
