I recently re watched the December 21 2012 history channel and I must say it's truly a fantastic production, great specialists and authors and great production values and its good to finally see the mainstream media starting to focus on such an important issue. The documentary itself primarily revolves around Nostradamus and his predictions for mankind and specifically 2012.

Nostradamus was an interesting man, he was an active occultist and alchemist and it was through utilizing his abilities gained from these areas of discipline he was able to make various predictions regarding the future and of course for 2012. One of the key pieces of information in the December 21 2012 history channel documentary however is often overlooked and I want to delve into that a bit deeper right now.

Many people have dismissed Nostradamus because they believe that anyone who claims to be able to see into the future through psychic powers and disciplines of prediction are charlatans and fakes, when the reality of the matter is nothing could be further from the truth. The evidence really speaks for itself in regards to Nostradamus because most of his predictions in the lead up to 2012 have already come to pass.

Nostradamus, whilst not mentioning it in the same way as we do today, was able to predict such things as the disaster of 9/11 the ensuing war in Afghanistan and Iraq, Hurricane Katrina and believe it or not even the election of president obama in the united states of America.

The problem is that many people don't understand that all psychic predictions are merely one potential outcome, if any of the variables are changed along the way, for good or bad, the outcome can become completely different and in essence this was what the December 21 2012 history channel was trying to point out, that the time for mankind has come to decide whether we wish to follow down this path of self destruction, or wake up to our true nature and enter into a new golden age.

We must look within ourselves and gain the strength to recognize that society has become black with the plagues of fear and anger, we must face our inner demons and learn to overcome them, because only when we do so will we be able to change the path we are on and prevent the negative outcomes that Nostradamus predicted for 2012.
