Belgaum is a south Indian city of the Indian state of Karnataka

. It is the fifth largest city of the state of Karnataka. The present city of Belgaum was founded and established by the Ratta Dynasty. The city of Belgaum is known as the commercial hub of North Karnataka, it is also considered as the divisional headquarter of the North Karnataka.

The city has many small, medium, and large scale factories and businesses. A large deposit of bauxite has led to the foundation of the HINDALCO in the city which is known for the production of the aluminum. The city is also known for being the largest producer of milk in the whole state. Since the late twentieth century the city has become major home to important center for the manufacture of heavy machine tools, including the manufacture of high pressure oil Hydraulics. The city is also one of the major textile centers of the state. As the city is situated in a very significant in the middle of natural bliss, therefore the city has a breathtaking natural beauty including, rivers, forests, flora and the fauna.

The city is, for this reason a center of tourism spot and location. In the past few decades the city has developed a lot and has left no stone unturned in the field of development. The city has established some of the well known institutions in the field of education and has become one of the known places for gaining better education. Till date the city has founded eight engineering colleges, five medical colleges, and some dental colleges. The well known university of the city is the Visvesvaraya Technological University has more than two hundred eight colleges under its affiliation. Some other educational institutions and societies are working hard to keep on providing the students quality education.

The schools here are affiliated with CBSE and ICSE board and are run by government or some private trust or organization. The city has a good number of schools, which include kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and higher secondary schools. The play schools in the city are located near the residential locations and for the distant location students the school has school transport facility. The schools have lush green environment which is not only pollution free but also provides an inspiring atmosphere and encourages students to learn and study hard.

The schools here give equal stress and importance to the curricular and the co curricular activities, and thus, the schools here have included various types of activities. like: music, dance, sports, assists students with time management skills, builds socialization skills, self-esteem etc. and programs to provide a holistic learning experience to the students. Having a good and dedicated faculty fraternity gives a cutting edge over other schools. The schools here believe in encouraging the student and giving each and every student equal opportunity to grow and get a successful and self dependent future. The schools have envisioned creating future leaders by providing them innovative as well as impeccable education.
