A fact of that reality is that a person should have a career not a job, not something that will be the bane of ones existence. There are some that are told they are reaching too high, while others arent reaching their full potential. I say to each their own and reach as far as you can.

As for me, the ultimate dream job is to become a director. I love cinema and all the technology and creativity available to it. I feel now it is my turn to become what I want to be and share what I have to offer. To have the chance to be creative and have an audience see my work is exhilarating to me. Seeing ones work on screen and have people laugh when a laugh is expected or have a family leave the theatre deep in a philosophical discussion about the true meaning of your film is only a fraction of what I would like to look forward to.

Film is an outlet of a directors imagination, no matter what the genre. Their job is to tell a story through film, to show it visually. Frame by frame stories are being told through action and word. That is what a director does and that is what I would like to do. I want to entertain, cause joy, sadness, laughter and every imaginable feeling a person can feel and make sure they feel it because of what Ive done to visualize it. I want to travel around the world looking for the perfect set location and accept the finest actors for one of my films. I want to become a director.

I love write and to pen a script that will one day become a film that I directed is an incredible thought. With college and the right training and I feel I would be ready for anything the film industry threw at me. Im a leader and I follow things through, I want this to be my lifes work and Im willing to work hard for it. Film is a hard career to become accepted in, but I am ready and willing to do it.

I do not expect blockbuster hits, nor do I expect awards. I do expect of myself to work hard and create worlds both real and fictional and make it as superb as I possibly can. Because I have dreams, I dream big, but my dreams are possible.About the Author:
