A down side to this is that existing applications can not be used, but rest assured there will be plenty available as the unit becomes more popular, which is inevitable given the impressive specifications. Web wise, the browser benefits from its support of Adobe Flash, giving a complete on line experience.

With units such as these, size is vital, so it is pleasing that the Blackberry Playbook seems ideal for the tasks it is set to fulfil. At 7 inches, the devices display is a good two inches larger than some tablets available such as the dell streak, commonly regarded as to small. On the other side of the coin, its considerably smaller than the iPad, a unit that is perhaps a little on the large size.
