One: Using electric shavers is better for acne affected skin

. They do not give a close shave like other razors. But, that is what is needed because it will not cause skin breakouts or inflammations.

Two: If you do not prefer an electric shaver and are comfortable with conventional razors, it is better to use single-edged blades. Other razors that give closer shaves are not advisable because in the process of giving a close shave they tend to graze the skin and tug the hair follicles out. After this, the hurt skin tends to pull itself back. In this process, it closes the holes from where hair follicles have been pulled out. This renders the outward growth of hair follicles difficult and acne will inflame.

Three: Methodically wash your face and other areas where you apply cosmetics regularly. Be all the more careful if you wear cosmetics and do exercising or other activities because of which you tend to sweat. When you sweat, the chemicals in the cosmetics get absorbed by your skin, which aggravates the acne condition.

Four: While buying make-up material, use only non-comedogenic or "oil-free" products. Other kinds of make up products may cause pore-clogging and irritation worsening your acne problem. To name a few products that will result in such undesirable results: Coal tar derivatives, cream-based blushes and carmine.

Five: To make life easier, try to do something and prevent this problem from occurring. You will not generally run the risk of acne catching you. So, a preventive action that you can initiate is to use lip gloss that can give a matte finish instead of something intensely glossy. It is a good indication that when your make up has more shine, it gives a smoother finish. This means, clogging of skin pores becomes very easy. Finally, one word of caution: Eye creams can have heavy moisturizer content than other creams or lotions. This makes it easy for your skin pores to get clogged and bring up acne. That is a very bad situation.
