School camp experiences are a common part of Finnish lives today

In this way, not only do children who are given a chance to go to camps and go on field trips capable of thinking about more important concepts, but they are also able to respect the diversity found in communities and the unique qualities that are found in individuals around the world.

This is why camps are so popular today too. Finnish adults understand the importance of their child's education. They also understand that diverse experiences often lead to more expanded thinking patterns. As a result, many parents who want to see their children live the fullest lives possible do everything they can to ensure their children are exposed to the environments of school camp events and school field trips.
