Poor lighting is a bad thing for several reasons one reason is your eyesight
. If you do not have ample lighting then your eyes must strain to see properly. One other reason why ample lighting is a necessity is your home is not comfortable and fully appreciated if it cannot be seen in the proper light.
You need to see what you are doing and others who visit the home will feel comfortable as well. If you have a room or several rooms that have dim or poor lighting there are many neat choices you can use to correct the situation.
Lamps, light bars, or small battery operated lighting can be, used in many different places to brighten up a dimly lit room. The choice is really up to you as to which you prefer to use. If the room is used frequently then you will want to choose a type of light that is easy to use and will provide enough illumination for the entire room.
In this case, a good size floor lamp or table lamp will suffice. If you prefer the florescent softer light then your local discount store will have a large bar light you can easily attach to a wall or ceiling.
Florescent lighting is the most preferred choice as the quality of light is excellent and these use less current. Therefore, this type or bulbs are better on the power bill monthly.
If you only need a little extra light in an area where you do not have much space then you can find small lamps that sit on the tabletop. Some of these small lamps will even clamp onto a tabletop to ensure they do not fall or tip over and break. These are a wonderful invention and many use this type of lamps as well.
You can also find smaller bar lights to attach to a wall in the area where you need the extra lighting. These attach quickly with a screwdriver and a little time.
Now as for the places where there is not any kind of lighting or electricity you have no access to a plug you can use the battery-powered type of lighting. These provide enough light and can be, taken down and moved if needed. Just be sure to remember to turn them off or you will expend the batteries. If you do leave them on, the batteries will run down; then will need to be, replaced.
