The Bayer hemophilia Leadership Development Program was created by Bayer together with hemophilia advocacy organizations, health care professional thought-leaders, and other community advocates to help prepare future leaders in the hemophilia community. For years, Bayer has advanced motivated, young individuals with a tie to hemophilia an eight-week and paid internship. The internship involves a number of hands-on methods designed to make acute leadership skills and give interns a chance to execute these skills in a practical way corporate setting through a various individual projects.
The BHLDP program also provide a chance to spend time working at a hemophilia community where interns can plop their leadership and business skills to work for the hemophilia organization. The aim of the BHLDP community is to let on selected trainee to build foundational leadership skills, while also dredging their ally to the local hemophilia organization.
Bayer community is looking for students enrolled full-time in college who are touched by hemophilia and have a keen interest in it and commitment to becoming a future leader in the hemophilia organization. Trainees will visit to Bayer"s U.S. headquarters in New Jersey, where they will spend eight-weeks participating in actions that goal to help them grow their personally and professionally.
Selected trainees will have an amazing opportunity to:
To take part in formal training on communication skills, effective problem solving, leadership, and compliance activities.
Lavish their time working with mentors within Bayer to gain insights into the inner workings of the various corporate departments and also emphasizing the value of the collaboration.
Work with hemophilia organizations in the place to learn about the work done to support the hemophilia organization and how business professionals can support these acts.
Enroll in hands-on projects that will build on the skills developed during the affairs.
The plan will also contain a meeting with health care public policy professionals in Washington D.C. where trainees will watch how first-hand effective advocacy relations impacts monastic decisions.
This is a wonderful eight-week, paid internship program which start from June through August 2013. All the activities like housing, and travel will be organized and underwritten by Bayer.
Trainees are elected based on the application form and interview process which they go through. Selected trainees will be called to fill out per-employment documentation as well as have to pass some tests like pass a drug-screening test and background check.
