Article Writing for Beginners-How to Write Your First Article

Article writing for beginner will start by choosing a subject for writing your first article that is related to you niche or website. If you have firsthand knowledge of your topic it will be very helpful. When writing your first article you will want to remember that people are seeking information. They have a problem that they would like to solve or are interested in.

For example let us use puppy training as your niche. If you have ever trained a puppy you know some of the challenges, so writing your first article just became easier. On the other hand if you never trained a puppy you will have to do some research. Don't worry I am not going to suggest that you get a puppy. That would be a little extreme research for writing your first article.

Google It:

Here is a little trick I like to use. Google it, enter puppy training-forum in the search bar and see all the results. Go visit a few forums and read the questions see if you can identify a few common problems. Read some of the responses to the various post or sometimes referred to as threads. If you feel qualified enter the forum and participate. I could write about the benefits of forum and perhaps that will be the subject of a future article. Meanwhile I don't want to get off the subject, atricle writing for beginners.

Writing you first article is already taking shape, you identified a common problem. You know the solution and now you want to write about it. Before you do, we will have to do a little keyword research. Again this is a subject I could write a book about and there are many of them.

For the purpose of this article I am going to assume you know a little about keyword research. Don't panic if you don't, later I will give you a link to my blog where you can get all the information you will need. For right now we will use the Google keyword tool. Just type Google keyword tool in a Google search bar, and the first result will be their free keyword tool.

Enter your keyword puppy training in the keyword tool, fill in the catch code and see the results.

Your keyword and many of Google's suggestions will be listed along with the search volume and competition volume. Ideally you are looking for a phrase (long tailed keyword) with moderate volume and low competition. Take your time this is an important process, you will have to find a long tailed keyword phrase you can work into your article and article title.

Another Example:

Article writing for beginners is the keyword phrase I want to get ranked for. Article writing is a very competitive keyword phrase. By doing a little digging I found that article writing for beginners is far less competitive and would work for me. Writing your first article is a secondary keyword I wanted to get ranked for. Again good volume, and little competition.

As you can see I like to give examples, I hope they help.

Keyword must be in you title:

Use your keyword phrase in your title, in the beginning of your title if possible. You want to make the search engines happy and you need to make the title compelling enough for the reader to want to read your article.

Article Body:

Use your keywords in the first paragraph and last paragraph and a few times in the body of your article. Don't stuff your article with keywords sprinkle them throughout your article in a conversational flow.

In Paragraph one you identified a common problem your readers have. In the rest of the article you provided the solution to the problem. You used your keyword phrase as mentioned earlier. Now it is time for you to get your reward!
