Business 101 goal setting teaches setting your goals to reach objectives, but you have to understand the barriers to goal setting such that after setting and meeting your goals, your objectives are actually realized.

The most often heard barriers to goal setting are conquering procrastination, improving management of your time and making better decisions about commitment, focus and purpose, but a major paradigm shift can have more influence than all of these.

Events in the world and on the Internet are changing rapidly today. There can be really significant changes that deeply affect the way you work and earn a living. Sometime change can creep up on you, when you realize circumstances around you are now completely different.

Sometimes the things that worked so well before, just don't pan out for you now.
