Basic Instructions For Electric Cigarette Use
Many times when a new user receives their electric cigarette
, whether it is a disposable or a fully equipped starter kit, they might have reservations about how to use it correctly. The starter kits usually come with full instructions on how to use the device correctly and safely, but sometimes the disposables come with limited instructions or no instructions at all. Some e-cigarette websites that sell the disposables are adding user friendly videos tutorials to their sites to show new users how to operate the product. Look for websites that offer these videos for the disposables so you will know exactly how to go about it. Disposables come ready to use, but are only designed to last for a certain lengths of time and a certain estimated number of puffs.
The electric cigarette starter kits, although still easy to use, require some assembly. Assembly is easy enough for anyone to accomplish because there are only three parts. The battery stick, the atomizer and the filter. The battery stick supplies the energy to make the device work, the atomizer is activated by the battery stick and heats the air and nicotine liquid that is in the filter. The only challenge is knowing which part of your electric cigarette requires some maintenance when it stops working properly. This is easy enough to pinpoint as well since there are only three parts to contend with.
When you battery stick is charged fully, the tip on the end will glow when you inhale on it just as it would with a traditional cigarette that is lit with fire. Only there is no fire involved with the e-cigarette. When you are not inhaling on the device the tip will not glow. When the tip begins to flash when you inhale on it, it means it is time to change your battery stick for a fully charged one. Your starter kit comes with two battery sticks so you can have a freshly charged on at all times. The batteries will need to be replaced from time to time especially if you use your e-cigarette heavily.
The atomizer heats the air and is what makes the nicotine liquid in the filter feel like real smoke. If you r battery stick is working well and you have a fresh nicotine filter in place, but you can not get any vapor to form, then you might be having a problem with your atomizer. Most e-cigarette distributors offer replacement atomizers and it is a good idea to have an extra one on hand. It is also a good tip to place one drop of nicotine liquid on the end of the atomizer when you use refilled nicotine filters. This will help to keep the atomizer from drying out and burning up prematurely. If you have been using a filter all day and can not get any vapor, always try a new one before you automatically assume it is your atomizer gone out.
You can of course, order you nicotine filters prefilled in packages, but many e-cigarette users prefer to purchase a bottle of nicotine liquid and refill their their used cartridges to save even more money. You simply follow the instructions that come with your bottle of e-liquid and your filters will work just like brand new ones.
