The task of bathroom lighting is never a complex one
. If you take a close look at most bathrooms, they are not substantially big rooms. As long as the major fixtures like the shower or tub, toilet and sink are in there, the bathroom can be declared a usable one. While the bathroom may not be that expansive, it does necessitate a lot of bathroom lights. Every bathroom fixture present is a delineated area that needs to be lighted up with an appropriate set of lights.
The shower is an area where the homeowners cleanse their bodies. In order to accomplish this task in a more efficient way, there should be an overhead light in this area. A small ceiling light or a recessed light can be installed. This will give brilliance to the shower unit so it makes it easy to locate the soap and you don't the mistake the conditioner for the shampoo. It also renders the area very safe so you know where the grab bars are. Showers tiles do get slippery when they get soapy wet.
In case the homeowners have a bathtub, it would be wise to invest in a more fanciful bathroom lighting fixture. When you soak up in the tub, your gaze will be directed upwards and a beautiful chandelier or a pendant light can give you an interesting thing to view rather than just gaze up at the flat ceiling. A dimmer should be attached to the switch so you can adjust the amount of light to a softer glow.
The toilet area doesn't need much light. The ceiling light in the middle of the bathroom will always do. Unless, of course, you take up some reading when you do your morning rituals so a recessed light above it needs to be installed.
Last but not the least is the vanity and sink area. This is where the detailed grooming activity is taking place. There should be bright wall sconces on either side of the mirror to provide full illumination to the face. This way you can do your make-up or your shaving with so much ease.
