This polishing process will remove roughness and add a natural shine to make the surface look smooth. They produce many types of finishes from mirror finish to flamed, hammer finish or tumbled.

Routing

To create the desired cut designs and edge profiles on the slab, routers machines are used. These are generally used in hearths and fireplaces.

Computer Numerical Control

Computer control machines control the entire process of shaping. They are easy to use and also affordable. They can accurately route and polish in any style. This results in increase in quality and speeds up the production with preset times.

Once the granite fabrication process is completed, they are transported and installed. You need to take careful measures to protect the surface and finished edges. For granite installation, an individual from the supplier comes for installation. The supplier would examine the place and take precise measurements and check if they need any other specialized tools for cut outs.

Removing the existing tiles, base cabinets or countertops

It is always necessary to clean 100% of your old stone tiles, base cabinets or countertops and this should be again by professional as they limit the drywall, mess and cabinetry damage.

Plumbing and Electrical

You need to call a licensed electrician or plumber to disconnect sinks and any electrical outlet from the walls and fit it back after installation.

Seams

Seams are generally filled with colored polyester material to match the granite as close as possible. Generally fabricators and installers have been trained to reduce seams; however, they try to make them look as transparent as possible.

Sealing

After the completion of granite installation, the surface needs to be sealed to keep it from staining. You can use highest quality of sealers that give trouble-free usage. These sealers need to be applied for every 2 years depending on the usage.
