Best Career, Profession, Job Or Business

These days often boys and girls ask me about good profession

. Often they want me teach them web designing or other web services. On the other hand often I get CVs or request of software engineers and web developers to provide them work. I myself get little work and hardly make livelihood for my small family. They think home based work is easy but remember never destroy your career by relying on home based work instead of career jobs. Even earning $500 per month is big task for any freelancer. My electrical or electronics engineer cousins are taking USD $15,000 (PKR 1500, 000) per month in Canada and USA. Always join rich industry, manufacturing and food business especially in rich countries. There is huge charm in food cultivation in over-populated and rich countries. Food prices are double what they were 5 to 10 years ago while web services rates are same as of 10 years ago.

Similarly, people have become billionaires by real estate business. As a real example I tell you or own example. Seven years ago, we hired this two rooms 3 Marla portion of a home or quarter in Rs. 2,500 rupees per month rent and now homeowners gradually increased it to Rs. 6,600 per month this year i.e. phenomenal 264 percent increase in 7 years.

Web and software development has become cheapest and most competitive profession. Now there is no or little career in web services or software development. Students should join only those professions which are only taught in universities. There is big money in them. While working over internet, I observed that value of human services or labor is decreasing and value of products is increasing. It is due to ever increasing competition and more than required Manpower.

Medical is still wide open field. There is no dental clinic or lady gynecologist in this locality of Lahore city. My cousin who is orthopedic surgeon in government hospital in Lahore told me that there are few specialist doctors in big rural areas of Punjab despite easy earning there. Doctors go abroad or they join government service in cities. He told that still Canadian immigration keep doctors as preferential profession while IT vanished long time ago.

Government service or job is the best choice especially if you are in officer grade. Overall benefits including high salaries, free accommodation, free medical, free education free traveling and many other allowances. WAPDA employees even get free electricity. We pay every bill. I know how terrible is this to pay house rent, children school fee, medical bills and utility bills. We travel in hired Rickshaw or public transport.
