Commodore Amiga returns A new Commodore super machine on its way to us again. It is 25 years ago the computer producer Commodore launched its first Amiga A1000 machine. Since then Commodore has not been in the news picture so often, after its latest launch the Amiga 2000. All these machines were at its time some of the most popular game computers used by the youngsters in their homes. Several attempts have been made to resurrect the Commodore after its bankruptcy in 1994. It seems like Amiga is about to coma alive again in a new form and shape as the AmigoOne X1000. Lately a mysterious web page has created some attention amongst the technology interested ones. http://a-eon.com/ The web page asks on its front page what is X? You get some hints to the answer of this as you click your way through the web page. In the end you will come to an information page that explains what AmigaONe X1000 is about. The machine is told to be a PowerPC with a special motherboard that has a code name Nemo. On this motherboard there will be Xeno processors that can be modified through the operating system called Amiga OS 4. This software will be able to give the users the amount of resources needed to run any software an optimal speed. To the dedicated Amiga supporters this is good news that potentially can lead to a new Amiga storm 25 years after Commodores initial success.
