Camping is enjoyed by so many people as it's a recreational past time that can be enjoyed in so many different ways

. Having a fun camping just consists of how you want to camp, type of campground, and the activities planned for the trip. It can also be fun to experience different styles of camping with different friends or groups of people also.

Some people enjoy a more adventurous camping style which often entails more a primitive style of camping with hiking to the camp site involved. For these types of trip consider areas where specified locations are not dictated. Many campers like to hike further distances in order to reach more scenic areas that make take the better part of day to reach. For this type of camping make sure to select light weight gear that is designed to be back packed such as smaller 2 person tents along with smaller single burner camp stoves. Select a back pack that can accommodate extra clothes, food, water, cook ware, and a tent. A good pair of hiking boots that are designed for different types of terrains should also be worn.

If you're the outdoors type person but not interested in really roughing it consider a campground that offers showers and a location that offers some of the activities you may enjoy. Having a picnic table and camp fire ring and wood available are a few nice amenities that come along with staying at a campground. Camping gear for this type of camping can be almost anything you have room for in your vehicle as it will typically be close by or parked right in your campsite. Gear should include all the basics such as the sleeping bags, pillow, air mattresses, food, water, drinks, lantern, camp stove, or anything else you have room for. Recreational items such as bikes, games, and canoes are also fun to have along.

If you're looking for even more comfort and less work packing for a camping trip a camper or RV might be the way to go for you. Campers and RV most often have air conditioners and furnaces built in to make the environment even more comfortable. With an RV and even most campers stoves, flushing toilets, and hot showers are also available. Another option is to rent a cabin or condo along a lake shore.
