There was a time when people actually called reality shows a fad

Well, look where we are nowhalf the shows on television are reality shows, and while they have given us some good guilty pleasure programming most of the programs are soulless, mindless, insulting dreck. Here is a list of some of the worst reality shows that, despite everything, are some of the most popular and highest rated in the United States. Without further ado: reality shows that suck more than acheap air hockey table. Americas Got Talent Im not sure why they didnt just turn this show into a giant joke. There are more horrible contestants that they bring on to laugh at and make fun of than there are genuine people with talent. Its like American Idols terrible auditions, over and over, with no bright spots in sight. Its a terrible depression show that is more about highlighting the worst people in America than our actual talent. If someone from another country saw this show they would be well within their rights to order a nuke to drop on Washington, DC and Los Angeles, California. I really would not blame them. The Biggest Loser The show is called The Biggest Loser and features a group of morbidly obese people competing in embarrassing contests to lose weight. The worst part about this show is that the hosts and trainers actually feign like they are doing these people a favor while wallowing in their self-pity and hatred. The show is more about berating the people into feeling bad about themselves so they lose weight than to actually build and learn healthy living lifestyles. I can understand why it is a success because people at home with a giant soda and bag of chips love to be able to laugh at the fat people on TV while they gorge themselves on junk food in front of them TV. Its really a brilliant show in that regard.
