Conquering Exam Anxiety to Manage Stress and Education


How many times have people studied thinking they have mastered all the key points of the topic they are taking an exam for? Now, fast forward to the time of the test and all of a sudden they are paralyzed with the fear of failing, which is known as having exam anxiety. Most times this behavior sets in during childhood and then follows an individual as they grow older. Each time they are presented with the same situation, which created the behavior in the first place, it intensifies and increases to such an extent that the mind doesn't know how to deal with it. To combat and deal with this anxiety the body breaks out into a sweat, an internal negative self-talk begins, feelings of not being worthy start to take place, also fatigue and depression start to set in, but unknown to the individual, rather than fight the anxiety this feeds it and encourages it to grow.
