Darien Used Mercedes News: Record-breaking June Sales Means Continued Success For Mercedes

Mercedes-Benz models have won accolades and honors aplenty this year

, but that doesn't mean much if the cars don't sell. Fortunately for Mercedes, they have. Darien Mercedes-Benz S550 dealers are thrilled that Mercedes had record sales in June and look forward to continued sales increases.

Surprisingly, the most expensive Mercedes models helped boost sales in June. Apparently, yet another sign that the auto industry is zooming out of its slump and the general public is ready to drive something new.

Joachim Schmidt, Mercedes head of sales and marketing, stated recently, "In June we succeeded in boosting out sales by double-digit percentages for the eighth time in a row. We are also in an excellent position to do well in the months ahead and plan to continue Mercedes-Benz's success with a significant increase in the third quarter."

Darien used Mercedes dealers believe this is a good sign as well. The Mercedes brand had an increase of 13.2 percent which was a record high of 113,300 vehicles in June. This was mainly attributed to sales of the S-Class and E-Class models.

The company could even end the year with increases in the double digits in places like Japan and the United States. The biggest sales explosion, though, happened in China where sales were almost triple from the same month last year. I guess this can tell us something about the global economy as well as the domestic one.

One model that did not see increases was Daimler's Smart ForTwo. This tiny two-seater was conceived more than ten years ago by late Nicolas Hayek, the founder of Swatch. It has somewhat of a cult following, but is obviously not a practical family or long-distance car.

A makeover was just unveiled for the Smart ForTwo. Whether this will help its popularity remains to be seen, but it definitely has its niche in the green world.

Darien Mercedes-Benz S550 dealers hope that customers will come in to see the entire Mercedes line and watch for upcoming models like the all-electric SLS AMG E-Cell, which Mercedes has said it will produce, but has not yet given a debut date.

Customers of Darien used Mercedes can count on a huge selection of pre-owned Mercedes-Benz models and may want to check out all the buzz surrounding the S-Class and E-Class models. Certified pre-owned Mercedes models can be a good buy as well, with guarantees and manufacturer warranties that provide for peace of mind.

Since Mercedes dealers did well in a recent secret shopper survey conducted by an independent agency, Pied Piper Management, customers can feel confident that they will receive the highest level of service from the sales force at their Mercedes dealership. That's some peace of mind as well.
