Deadly Interview Answers That Annoy Potential Employers
Deadly Interview Answers That Annoy Potential Employers
Unless your goal is to tick your interviewer off I storngly suggest you do NOT do these 3 things. If you have gotten to the interview you are half way there. the next question becomes what will the quality of your answers be?
I say this over and over that the hiring manger wants someone
They like or is like able
Who makes them look good
And makes their job easier
So obviously turning them off would not be a good thing. So read these 3 mistakes and follow the suggestions.
Very unqualified candidate: if you lied on your resume the interview will tell. And if you do not know the terminology or that there was a terminology then kiss that job goodbye. thats one of the main reasons you NEVER lie on your resume because they will test you.
No Idea about the job or company: so wait you want a job making m0ney and you didn't even take the time to do your research? Congratulations you just lost that job and ticked off the interviewer many times without knowing. The only 2 general exceptions are when your applying for a low end job that has little or no company or job description. A high end job where the recruiting manger provided you little time to prepare or information about the company or position. But in that case you have already at least talked to the recruiter and they know. But in the internet world there are few excuses for not knowing about the job or company.
General non specific answers: when your asked a question always answer in the form of a analogy that involves the company or the position. Show in your answers you are client centric. But if you offer the samism answers like "I am a people person" or "I am a problem solver" you are dead.
