Delray Beach Hyundai Dealers Get Greener With New Technology
Greener and greener
Greener and greener. Well, that what I see out my window. My Midwest community, like many others, has been inundated with rain and the grass just keep growing, even though it wont dry out enough to be mowed. But the auto industry keeps getting greener and greener and thats surely a good thing for everyone.
With all the advances in green technology, our environment will benefit and we will eventually be able to use more sustainable energy sources than non-renewable ones and get them all from our own resources. A pat on the back for those automakers who are working to get these models onto the roads of America.
Delray Beach Hyundai dealers are excited about the prospect of the Sonata Hybrid, slated to hit the showroom next year. It will get better mileage than the Elantra Blue, which boasts 35 mph currently, and the engineering will include stop/start capability within the next two years.
Buyers of the 2011 Hyundai Sonata will soon know that Hyundai can build a hybrid as well as a gasoline engine vehicle and the superior fuel efficiency will seal the deal. Although the hybrid versions of most Hyundai models with start/stop ability wont be available until 2012, just the anticipation of the technology will create enough stir to keep curious would-be buyers interested.
The projections for these new models are very promising. They are estimated to have about three percent better fuel economy and the CO2 reduction will be higher as well, making this truly green technology. Another side benefit of the race for green technology is that although the automakers are in competition with each other to find and build the best, most affordable eco-friendly vehicles, each advance builds on the previous ones and they are, in essence, working together.
Customers of Delray Beach Hyundai dealers will want to get their name on a list for the new Sonata when it hits the lot. There is even speculation that Hyundai has a Sonata has a coupe convertible in the works. Okay, how cool is that? Green technology, affordable driving and the cool factor all wrapped up in one sleek, fast package.
Of course, this would expand the customer base for Sonata, drawing in the young, single clientele and possibly the over-40s and the empty-nesters who want something sportier yet still want to be environmentally responsible.
Bottom line: Hyundai is seeking to make the right moves by improving its current green technology; expanding the choices among it models to entice a wider range of customers; and cleverly keeping the Hyundai name at the forefront of our minds. Apparently the 2011 Hyundai Sonata was just the beginning of the impressive repertoire that Hyundai plans to orchestrate for the car-buying public in the U.S.
