Denise Richards In Anger Management

It"s been six years since they have been divorced and now they both will be seen together on television

. Denise Richards will be playing the love interest of Charlie Sheen in Anger Management. This curios piece of information came out recently when Denise told about her upcoming act in FX comedy series by Charlie Sheen.

The curiosity lies in the fact that the 41 year old actress will be seen with her ex husband Charlie Sheen together for the first time after their divorce in 2006.

Richards began the shoot for Anger management in April this year. The cable series marks another landmark for Sheen. It is going to be his first release after his being fired from Two Men and a Half of Sitcom fame last year.

Denise was approached by Charlie to do a role on the show. A small clip of the show enthralled Denise as she found it to be extremely funny. She thus admitted to play the love interest of her ex husband. Soon in April, Richards posted a photograph where she hugged Sheen, on the WhoSay page. She quoted that the meet was indeed a wrap, and also thanked Sheen for a great fun filled week. She further added that it was great fun working with him.

Richards also had the chance of starring on Two and a Half Men, where also she played the girlfriend to Sheen"s character. Her appearance on the show came when she was bearing Sam"s baby. Richards also played Sheen"s love interest in "Spin City", which was his previous comic series.

Strange though! In 2006 the two could not stand in the same room. Richards had accused Sheen of being addicted to other interests. However since 2010, Richards has been moved by the tough times faced by Sheen. The two took their daughters for a vacation and Richards said that the two have started acting as brother and sister, and that theirs" is a modern family.

Moreover Richards was reported of being extremely happy about the way Sheen has progressed since then.

"Anger Management" is set to hit television screens on June 28. The show is adapted from a feature film that bore the same name starring Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. Sheen in Anger management plays the role of an ex athlete who helps people to manage their anger. Bruce Helford who has written this show, has other shows like "Roseanne" and "The Drew Carey Show" to his credit.

Richards and Sheen were married for four years and had two daughters Sam and Lola. Richards later in June adopted another baby girl "" Eloise Joni.

Sheen has been in the headlines since July 2011 because of him being fired from Two and a Half Men. Sheen went through a rehab after erratic attacks and rants on-air.

All"s well if the two decide to put the past aside of their lives. Richards too is getting positive vibes about the future of the kids, looking at the dedication and focus of Sheen.
