The famous New Year's Eve celebration takes place here every year and the square is packed with people from around the world. Times Square also features numerous restaurants, theaters and famous spots.

The Empire State Building is a landmark for the city. It is an amazing architectural structure that allows visitors to travel to the top to get a great view of the city.

Yankee Stadium, home to the New York Yankees baseball team, is another spot to stop and see while in the city. If you happen to visit during baseball season you may even get a chance to watch a game.

As of September 2011, you can visit the 9/11 memorial which is located at the site of the former twin towers of the World Trade Center. The memorial pays tribute to all the people who lost their lives in the 9/11 terrorist attacks and those who lost their lives in the 1993 terrorist bombing at the World Trade Center.
