6. CONVERTOR: The energy being supplied by your system will be DC power, while your home will be using AC power. By using a convertor you are able to convert the DC power into AC power.

In the majority of cases this would be supplied by your existing energy supplier, but if you reside in an off-grid' location it would be advisable to have a petrol or diesel generator to hand.
