Step 2:
Now that you have the tools, it is time to start the cleaning. Shut down your computer and unplug everything. Your computer must now be in separate pieces.

Take the CPU out to a garage or somewhere outside, so that you do not get dust all over the house while cleaning it.
Step 4:
In order to avoid loss of any small pieces, place a 4-inch piece of duct tape flat on the floor beside you. Place anything on it that is screwed or attached to the computer. This will help you find everything when you need it and to avoid computer repair costs for missing parts.
Step 5:
Now you can unscrew the CPU parts.
Step 6:
Use a vacuum cleaner to get rid of all the noticeable dust and other particles on the CPU.
Step 7:

Now it is time to clean your keyboard and mouse. Use a wipe to clean both the items. In order to clean in-between the keys and the tiny spaces, a cotton swab can come in handy.
Step 10:
For cleaning the monitor screen or CRT screen, use the microfiber cloth. Be sure not to use any chemicals or liquid glass cleaners on your monitor.
Step 11:
You can now re-assemble everything.
