Most people really don't get what's going on and get stuck on the wrong stuff.

It's about you and your personality. It's not about your ability to answer questions.

Not surprisingly that's how most of the world approaches their job interviews.

The sad fact is that the job offer usually goes to the candidate who performs well on the day.

Sure you will have to answer some questions but that's only a means to an end.

The trouble is that most people think it is the end in itself and lose the plot.

You probably spend more time at work than you do with your family, so an employer wants to know who they will be spending time with.

They want to know that their existing team will be happy to spend time with you too. Wouldn't you?

The last thing on their mind is whether you have the right answer for interview questions.

This is why they take time out of their day to talk to you. Interviewing is very time consuming.

Off the shelf answer for interview questions is not going to impress that many interviewers. They will have heard it all before.

It is better that they are left with a sense of who you really are.

We all know that interviews are a bit weird but you have to do your best. It's weird for the interviewer too.

Lets not become memory man and memories every answer for interview questions. Instead let's focus on why they are asking questions and give them what they really want.

You know why they are asking you these questions, so that your personality is revealed. It's not a very effective way of doing it but it's all they've got. Make it easier for them. Just tell them who you are.
