Tiles have been in use right from the BC era. But in this age of high environment concern, we need to use eco friendly tiles. Natural Tiles like Clay tiles (burnt clay, porcelain etc) and natural stone tiles, like Slate, Marble, Granite, Travertine limestone tiles, Onyx tiles etc. are eco friendly as they are made of naturally available material. But with depleting natural resources, recycling is the obvious answer. In addition to being environment friendly we have to try and better our environment.
