Ed Sheeran Tickets - Announces Collaboration With Uk Group One Direction

, portrayer of the character Ron Weasley in the "Harry Potter" movies, fellow Brit Ed Sheeran has become a sensation on the pop music scene with his special brand of folk/pop/blues. Born in February 1991, Sheeran began writing and playing music at an early age, recording his first songs at 16. In 2009 he managed 312 public performances, mostly at smaller venues, and, by early 2011, had already written, recorded and released eight independent extended play records. This young songster is a powerhouse of productivity. On tour again, this time in the U.S., Ed Sheeran tickets promise to provide lucky concert-goers an unparalleled experience, with exhilarated fans leaving shows with comments like, "Fantastic," "Amazing," and, "Best show ever!"

Meanwhile, back in England, while Sheeran was writing, producing and tirelessly performing his music to an ever-growing audience, a newly formed boy band called One Direction was busy competing in the hit British television talent competition called The X Factor. Placing third in the 2010 season, they were immediately signed by Simon Cowell to his record label, Syco, and by November 2011 had recorded and released their first studio album, "Up All Night." The record was a huge success, becoming that year's fastest selling debut album in the UK. The following year, "Up All Night," made U.S. chart history by being the first ever record by a UK group to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The album also reached number one status in 15 other countries and produced three top ten singles.

While the original "Up All Night" album had 13 tracks, a deluxe edition was later released, which contained two additional songs. The fifteenth and final cut is a song called, "Moments," written by Ed Sheeran and, according to Louis Tomlinson, One Direction group member, his favorite song on the album, calling it phenomenal. It's about a guy whose girlfriend dies, leaving him feeling totally helpless and driving him to suicide. There was great chemistry created between Sheeran and One Direction, with several band members expressing their delight with Sheeran's writing and production capabilities and stating it was an honor to be able to collaborate with him.

Not surprisingly, when it was announced earlier this year that work was beginning on a follow-up studio album to One Direction's first and incredibly successful first effort, Ed Sheeran was asked to collaborate. Good singers need good material and Sheeran, along with Jamie Scott, Tom Fletcher, Carl Falk, Savan Kotecha and Rami Yacoub, have all been confirmed as having a hand in the album's development.

Sheeran, meanwhile, continues his work writing, recording and performing his own material that is being accepted by mainstream music fans as some of the best out there. He continues to tour, playing to packed houses, with summer engagements throughout Great Britain and a swing through the U.S. during the last half of September and the first week of October. Stops include Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle and Toronto. It's a sure bet, ticket holders will be thrilled with the experience.
