. This city is well known as the steel city of the country. IT was founded by Jamshedji Nusserwanji Tata and is the first ever planned industrial city of the country. It is one of the important industrial centers of the Eastern region of India. The city of Jamshedpur is situated on the Chota Nagpur Plateau and is surrounded by the beautiful Dalma Hills.
