This procedure can be performed on both adult males and females. The potential patient must have realistic goals for the surgical procedure and must exhibit healthy facial muscles and tissue. Suitable candidates are healthy people who have no major illnesses and do not have any serious eye problems. Non-smokers tend to have more successful results than smokers because healing takes place at a more rapid rate.
