Fight for NBA Championship

So basketball season is finally back, everyone is anxious about it

. The only problem is that some players may not be ready. Kobe Bryant, the captain and one of the star players on the Los Angeles Lakers, is still recovering from his knee surgery and might not be ready to play at his full potential for this years season. This is a big year for Kobe since he can finally reach Michael Jordan's record but now with so many obstacles in the way it might not happen.

Lakers succeeded with last season's win of the NBA championship, but what is going to happen this season? When the Lakers went abroad to Europe for promotional matches, no one could have predicted what was going to happen. Regularly promotional matches are nothing serious to worry about, but as it turns out, they were no joke. The results of the match were alarming, leaving Kobe icing his knee. They shamefully returned home having lost all the promotional matches.

Kobe Bryant is one of the best players on the LA Lakers and led is team to the 2010 NBA champions, but doubts for this season continue to build. Bryant's third knee surgery on July 28 was chanted to be a great success but it might have been too early to be sure of the results. Bryant has not really participated too much during the off season practices, which is a smart thing especially right after the surgery. He has attempted to take it easy but spectators doubt that he is really ready for this year. The pressure is surely on. Fans are hoping for Kobe to lead the Lakers to another championship win, which would bring them to match the record of Michael Jordan. This seems to be no easy task however for their recovering star player.

They have already begun to prove themselves however with several wins in the pre-season and since the season start. To keep a close eye on the score visit (http://www.nba.com/) for the latest updates. But there is another large obstacle standing in their way now that LeBorn James has moved to the Miami Heat. Miami already has Dwayne Wade, who is another great player, plus yet another talented player, Chris Bosh. This creates a large obstacle for anyone who wishes to defeat them, including the Lakers. With these three star players forming this strong alliance, the 2010-11 season might just be the season for the Miami Heat. So far we can only speculate but seeing is believing, and sports watchers have their eyes on both the Lakers and the Heat.
