Set Challenging and Specific Goals!
Personal Development coach Jim Rohn said: Set the kind of goals that will make something of you to achieve it! Its not what you get. Its what you become in the process. To get easy goals, you can be an easy person! Set the kind of goals which make something of you to achieve it. Our brains work very well poorly with vague ideas, but extremely well when we get specific. A vague goal like you want to lose weight will not cut it (pardon the pun!). Deciding how much weight you want to lose and a deadline date will be much more effective. You may notice an intense focus as you now know what you are trying to achieve.
Write Down Your Goals!
It is not enough to simply know what you want to lose belly fat in the fastest possible way. On a piece of paper, you must write your goals down. By writing down your goals on a piece of paper, you give your mind another way of seeing your goals. If you write them in the present tense your subconscious mind will believe you have already achieve them. Example: I have lost 100 pounds in a safe and consistent manner; I feel so proud of myself! By doing this it is now glued in your subconscious mind, and the real power is in the fact that your subconscious mind cannot differentiate between reality and imagination. Now your subconscious mind thinks you have already lost your excess belly fat!
Move One Step Closer Every Day!
Do not get discouraged by aiming to lose 100 pounds everyday, instead break this goal into monthly and weekly goals and then work on these smaller goals every single day. As the classic saying goes 'a journey of a thousand miles starts with one single step'. The fastest way to lose belly fat is to set these mini goals, which can then be worked towards ever day. Add enough of these mini goals up and you have lost 100 pounds. One step towards your goal ever day is the difference between success and failure. It doesn't matter what you do every day, as long as you do something which is working you towards your goals! For example, if youre ultimate goal is to lose 100 pounds, and your weekly goal would be to lose 2 pounds then your mini daily goal could be to do a workout that day instead of sitting on the couch.
