Two useful and important tips to know are that in some cars, the tail and license plate lights are similar and therefore, in an emergency, are interchangeable so you need not drive without tail lights if they fail; and, as all the lighting systems in your vehicle must function all the time, you should check them on a regular basis to ensure that none of them will go out at a critical moment.
