Fiverr is useful if you are looking for a bit of help, or even have something you are willing to do to help someone else for a price of only 5 dollars.

So how does Fiverr work?

The idea behind Fiverr is simple and unique. You can sign up for a free account and then search for what ever task or service you need to have done that you are willing to pay five dollars for. The range of tasks are vast, from strange and bizarre like " I will sing for anyone in a chipmunk voice for 5$" to the serious "I will set up, install, and customize your wordpress blog for 5$".

In addition, if you have something that you are willing to do for 5$ you can offer it on Fiverr. The prices are fixed, 4 dollars will go to you, and fiverr takes 1 dollar. Not a bad deal. If you don't find what you are looking for you can suggest a special task you need done and see if anyone is willing to do it for you. Also, you can search by category, or keyword to find that thing you are looking to get done.

Drawbacks to Fiverr

The only real drawback to Fiverr is that you don't have any real guarantee of the quality of work you get. There is a rating option, and you can see if anyone has given the person a good review for the job done, but really, it's only 5$. You aren't out a huge amount of money if it isn't up to your standards. It may be worth a try for you.
