FlexiDry installed in luxury accommodation at Center Parcs

FlexiDry F1 was used in its seven day formulation to achieve fast drying for floor screeds in five new lodges built at the 400 acre Longleat Forest Holiday Village in Wiltshire as the holiday company builds on its recent success by developing new luxury lodges.

The two storey luxury lodges are designed for families or friends who are looking for complete relaxation and feature four ensuite bedrooms; a spa area with steam room, sauna and hot tub; and a games room.

In the last year, Center Parcs welcomed a record 1.6 million guests, with record levels of occupancy, leading to the investment in improvements to the accommodation and the development of the luxury lodge concept.

FlexiDry fast drying floor screeds were the ideal choice, being suitable for internal and external use; and as they are water repellent, unlike anhydrite and traditional sand and cement screeds. They can also be laid to falls, unlike flowing floor screeds, and can be used for taking up intolerances, being laid at thinner depths due to their high compaction.

FlexiDry is a low concentrated liquid additive that is simply added to a cementitious screed mix on site. Depending on the concentration added, FlexiDry transforms screed drying times with a choice of 7, 14 or 21 days.

In addition to reduced drying times, FlexiDry benefits include the ability to accept foot traffic after 12 hours of laying; improved compressive strength; and a reduced carbon footprint. Due to its high density and easy compaction FlexiDry is the perfect partner for underfloor heating systems.
