It is usually placed in door entrance for welcoming guest. It is already a habit by most people to have floor mats as a decoration and to let people to easily wipe the sole of their shoes upon entering the premises of the building or the house. Some floor mats has some words written as a sign of greeting or bear some cartoon characters to add attraction. Like any other things, floor mats can also be purchased in different styles, size, color, and design. They are typically made from long-lasting material, rubber, cloth, or metals. They are considered important because it helps improve indoor air quality, safety, and reducing the need for extensive cleaning. Also, be considerate in choosing floor mats. Make sure that it will not add burden to your laundry. Choose the ones that are pleasant to look at, high quality but weighs lighter so that it can easily be cleaned and washed. Floor mats are just a small piece of cloth but conveys loads of uses. It can be used on the floor of a bathroom to prevent slippery floor because it generally absorbs small amounts of water. A floor is slippery when wet and always the main cause for slips and falls that leads to injury and liability damage.
