Ge Reverse Osmosis Water - Dont Waste Your Time And Money Until You Read This Report
I was shocked
I was shocked. When I decided to buy a home water filter, I first looked at GE reverse osmosis water systems. Not only was it very expensive, the technology it uses does not do a very good job of filtering water. So, if youre considering a system that uses reverse osmosis filters, you need to read this article first.
Like many products, the most expensive is not necessarily the best one. This is definitely the case with home water filter systems. The methods of purifying tap water vary greatly as does the purchase price.
Reverse osmosis systems have their place. They are perfect for manufacturing facilities that need better quality water than whats provided by municipalities. These filters do a decent job at removing bacteria and other living organisms in the water. For most manufacturing processes, thats all they really need removed.
The military uses this type of filtration as well because their main concern is to remove anything that will make their soldiers sick. Again, these systems are fine for this use but are not what you want in your home.
So, whats the issue with reverse osmosis then? Well, the biggest problem with your tap water is chemical contamination. Studies have proven that most tap water has pesticides, weed killers, lead, prescription drugs, gasoline, and hundreds of other toxins. GE reverse osmosis filters systems do not remove any of these contaminants.
Another big concern with tap water is the chlorine added by municipal facilities. Chlorine does a great job of killing bacteria but is very unhealthy to consume. In fact, most public drinking water has more chlorine in it than whats considered safe for a swimming pool.
Some parasites have become resistant to the effect of chlorine. These microscopic organisms pass right through reverse osmosis filters. Parasites need to be removed from your tap water as they can cause serious digestive system problems.
In addition to high cost and poor filtering capabilities, maintaining a GE reverse osmosis water system is challenging. Its not a set it and forget it system. They are very prone to mechanical problems and need a lot of attention. Be prepared to spend a lot of money maintaining one of these systems.
So, there you have it. Some food for thought on whether or not you should consider buying a GE reverse osmosis water system.
