General Motors launched new Chevrolet beat in Diesel mid-off January 2011

GM India will introduce the diesel variant of 'Beat' soon, General Motors India Vice-President P Balendran said. "We are planning to launch it in the first quarter of 2011 (calendar year)," he added. Chevrolet Beat was launched at the Delhi Auto Expo 2010 earlier this year in January. The model currently has a waiting period of 30-40 days. General Motors reported total sales of 69,579 units last year and expects to cross one lakh sales figure this year.

The launch of the Chevrolet Beat in India has heightened the competition. it is just the beginning, Chevrolet Beat is going to beat the other cars brands in very short while. The car is designed so well and will attract the attention of the people especially youth. Chevrolet Beat car is accompanied with awesome features like 1.2 liter petrol engine, 4 cylinders, Anti-Lock Breaking System, Ventilated discs, Disc Break, Power Steering, Electronic Brake-force Distribution etc. Chevrolet beat car exteriors has designed elegantly and give different identity in the small car segment. Chevrolet currently offers diesel variant of its sedan model Cruze and denies any plans to introduce the petrol model of the same. There is no official Information about the price or launch date of Chevrolet Beat Diesel. The launch is expected around January 2011. The price of the Chevrolet Beat is expected to between Rs. 4.2 Lakhs and Rs. 5.5 Lakhs to compete with the same segment of cars. This is an approximate assumption and not the official price.
