Get a Six Pack Fast? - Why You Should Never Avoid Weight Training
Have you ever heard the saying "the rich get richer?"
I'm sure you have.
What does it have to do with getting a six pack? Well there's a similar saying in the fitness community I'll explain in a minute.
First, let's talk about getting a six pack fast.
Can it be done?
The answer is a resounding "yes." However, not without the proper training, knowledge, and application. Thankfully, you're about to learn a few simple secrets to accelerating stomach fat loss and carving out ripped abs.
But first...
Let's talk about weight training. What in the world does weight training have to do with getting six pack abs?
In order to answer that question, we must ask ourselves another question? What is the most effective way to get six pack abs?
The answer. Reduce you body fat percentage as low as possible.
The best way to reduce body fat is to create the highest energy demand possible.
Pretty simple right?
Well, here's how weight training fits into the picture.
Did you know when you gain lean muscle mass, your body turns over new cells and tissue every few hours?
This daily demolition and reconstruction process actually burns calories. Your muscles require a greater amount of calories to maintain themselves - routinely breaking down and building up new proteins.
That means for every extra pound of muscle you add to your body you will burn up to an additional 50 calories a day - even while you are at the movies.
Pretty cool right?
This explains why your muscle-head friends can go on an all-inclusive vacation, not work out for a week, and come back just as lean. They have so much muscle packed on their bodies they just burn off the excess calories.
In other words, "the lean get leaner" - (Remember our saying?)
When you add weight training to your fat-loss program, even with a severe reduction in calories, your body holds on to at leas 80% of your muscle mass. Weight training sends a signal to the body to "hang on" to your muscle
As you can see, the main factor in stripping away fat and carving out a sexy set of six pack abs is muscle. The more muscle you put on the more calories and fat you burn.
