4. Run ads to obtain research knowledge

Pick your top five product names or tag lines and then write ads that are optimized for each keyword. Each keyword should be run in its own Adgroup in order to obtain a high quality score, which can lower your cost per click. 5. Conduct a profitability analysis of your Google Adwords campaigns
If you run campaigns that are not converting well then you should consider whether they are worth the effort. Time spent on a losing campaign takes away from another campaign, which may be the money gusher. Bottom line, if the campaign is not as profitable as you would like then close it down. If a campaign is only breaking even then it is a judgment call as whether to spend more time improving conversions. It's surprising how even the smallest of campaigns can eat up your time.
